On Thursday 19th January an event-presentation of the project Dynamo Camp will take place at the Hard Rock Café of Florence with dj set curated by Radio Dynamo. The event is free and open to the public.
Dynamo Camp is the first Therapeutic Recreation Camp in Italy specifically designed for children with serious or chronic illnesses undergoing therapy and in a post-hospitalization phase. It is a vacation camp that accommodates free of charge youngsters age 7-17, from Italy, Europe and from the Mediterranean Basin affected by onco-haematological and neurological pathologies as well as rare syndromes. In 2012 Dynamo Camp will host 1.000 children. Dynamo Camp is part of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps founded in 1988 by Paul Newman (www.holeinthewallcamps.org).
