Elisabetta Franchi makes her debut with Elisabetta Franchi La mia Bambina

Central Pavilion, Lower Floor, Stand V7-9 / Z4-5

On the occasion of Pitti Bimbo 84, Elisabetta Franchi presents her first collection dedicated to young girls.

From silk crepe to printed fabrics, from subdued, delicate tones to more vivid colours, the garments in the autumn/winter 2017 Elisabetta Franchi La mia Bambina collection interpret the quality and DNA of the brand, also thanks to fine-quality details identifying the women’s line, such as empire cuts, puffball skirts, high-waisted cropped trousers and T-shirts embellished with embroidery. A collection that is based on the reinterpretation of the 1950s presented with different shapes and materials, prints and accessories, while what is on offer in terms of outerwear remains faithful to the designer’s animal friendly spirit. Characteristic elements of this first collection are the attention to detail, the lines with a graphic effect, the garments embellished with laminated gold and contrasting profiles. The protagonist of the prints, Betty Doll, icon of designer Elisabetta Franchi.
Three bags on offer that turn into small treasure chests to conceal the secrets of young girls. Stars all over: for special occasions, such as Christmas, the star is the dominant motif and shines in the prints. Combined with touches of sequins, it becomes a charm or precious embroidery, but also a buckle or button to illuminate garments.
