Since its market launch in 1980, it is estimated that some 450 million Rubik’s cubes have been sold. The Rubik’s brand appeals to all ages, tastes and cultures, and has established itself as one of the best-selling toys in the last three decades. A brand extension programme is currently being developed which will expand awareness of the Cube into a new world of products and categories.
