From Friday 19 to Sunday 21 May, at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, Pitti Immagine will be staging the 82nd edition of Modaprima, the fair featuring ready-to-wear clothing and accessories collections for men and women, presenting the collections for spring/summer 2018, with a special focus on bestsellers for fall-winter 2017/2018.
Contemporary ready-to-wear and international Appeal
Modaprima aims for an international target audience with an exhibition format that strives to relaunch the quality of the proposals, showcasing a selection of collections produced in Italy but with a high international appeal, created for a dynamic and constantly evolving global distribution. The last edition of Modaprima welcomed around 1,400 members of the trade who came to Florence over the three days of the event from more than 50 foreign countries, registering a growth in buyers from United States and South Korea.
The fair – which has become a key rendezvous for the international market of fashion manufacturers for medium and large-scale distribution – will showcase around 100 collections presented by almost 50 companies, some of the best names in Italy specializing in this production segment, and by a selection of foreign companies from countries such as: England, Spain, Portugal and Greece.
Once again at this edition Pitti Immagine will be focusing on internationality through promotional and communication initiatives, with the aim of intercepting a qualified and global audience of members of the trade.

Modaprima continues to back Accessories, the section dedicated to one of the fundamental drivers of fashion: accessories, a key component on the contemporary fashion scene, with an attentive offering created especially for buyers looking for new stylistic input. The collections at this edition are: Celdes, Farblue, Foodard Accessories, Luana Ferracuti, Vizio and Coccoluto Ferrigni.
