From Friday, 10 November to Sunday, 12 November, at Stazione Leopolda in Florence, Pitti Immagine presents the 83rd edition of Modaprima, the premier fashion show for ready-to-wear collections and men’s and women’s accessories, for autumn/winter 2018-2019 and with a focus on the bestsellers for spring/summer 2018.
Modaprima focuses on international spirit, with an exposition format aimed at relaunching the quality of its articles, on scouting, with a selection of the top companies from the sector, and on an ever-growing synergy between all of the elements of the market. New this time round is that the dates for responding to the demands of this increasingly more dynamic and prompt sector have been moved up.
A reference point for fashion that has been conceived and produced for large scale distribution, Modaprima shines the spotlight on a selection of approximately 80 collections, produced in Italy but with an intensely international flavour, perfect for worldwide distribution, dynamic and constantly evolving. It focuses on technical and stylistic quality, on production flexibility, and on the high quality/price ratio of the sector’s most frequently selected companies.
After the success of the previous editions, Modaprima focuses more and more attention on Accessories, the section dedicated to one of the fundamental drivers of fashion: the accessory. A range of products carefully created for buyers on the hunt for new stylistic input, with a selection of companies that are the product of Pitti Immagine’s signature research.
Once again, in the upcoming edition Pitti Immagine seeks to have an international reach through promotional and communications initiatives – organised also in close collaboration with ICE (Italian Trade Promotion Agency) – that aim to intercept a qualified and worldwide audience of industry operators.
In one of the most evocative spaces in Florence, the 19th century Stazione Leopolda, Modaprima once again takes advantage of the city’s central location, with its great potential in terms of appeal and image, characteristics that contribute to the success of every event that takes place there.
