The most recent edition of e-PITTI.com attracted over 100,000 visits and more than 440,000 pageviews. These results – an impressive increase compared to last June - confirm that industry players are interested in digital and the business opportunities offered by the platform.
Buyers certified by Pitti Immagine from 100 different countries visited the online versions of Pitti Uomo 85, Pitti W 13, Pitti Bimbo 78 and Pitti Filati 74. For buyers, e-PITTI.com is an extension of the research undertaken during the Florentine shows.
In general, visits to e-PITTI.com come from all around the world, with a growing presence from markets such as Brazil, China and Hong Kong. Italy confirms its position as the most active country on the platform, followed by Japan, Spain, Germany, Greece, Turkey, South Korea, France, Great Britain, Russia and The United States.
Approximately 1,300 brands were hosted during the last edition of the online fairs, with 7,800 products. FieraDigitale – the provider of the platform – with its team of 110 young professionals involved every season, took 60,000 pictures and 1,000 interactive videos with the aim of providing users with the most comprehensive description of upcoming trends.
“Even with fairs, digital is the main area for development.” declared Francesco Bottigliero, CEO of FieraDigitale. “This is thanks to the possibility of experiencing traditional fairs, anytime, anywhere and benefiting from the wealth of information gathered by the shows' organisers during the course of the events. Without a doubt, online represents a great opportunity for industry players to expand their professional network and grow business."
The next Pitti Immagine shows in June will be at the centre of the launch of the new FieraDigitale platform, built using state-of-the-art technology and with new graphics, content and functionality.
