Luca Rizzi is the new Director of Pitti Tutorship, Pitti Immagine Division which enhances and promotes fashion designers. Plus, a board of fashion experts is created in support of the project.
Starting from today, Luca Rizzi is appointed as the new Director of Pitti Tutorship, the Pitti Immagine division launched in January 2016, which is aimed at helping and guiding talented designers in their professional pathway, through personalized strategies of Brand Development (BD) and Career Management (CM).
Rizzi, 34 years old and born in Trento, with a degree in Economics and Business Management, arrived at the head of the Tutorship program after several important stints in businesses of reference specialized in fashion distribution and fashion designer management. Another important change to the Pitti Tutorship is the creation of a board of experts of reference in the fashion system, providing support to the Division in terms of orientation and development: the first components of the board are manager and entrepreneur Franco Pené and Linda Loppa, one of the leading experts in fashion education and fashion curating.
“With the nomination of Luca Rizzi, we continue to follow a path of growth and strengthening for Pitti Tutorship – comments Raffaello Napoleone, Pitti Immagine CEO. “The Division first launched by Riccardo Vannetti has already achieved important results, which have allowed the company to kick off a new series of activities at the service of the fashion system. The new Director will work to create an increasingly strong integration between Tutorship and the other Pitti Immagine sectors, with an eye to further developing the potential of this tool, which is distinct in its characteristics when considering the organizational structure of Pitti Immagine and the possibilities offered by its trade show platforms. I am also happy to announce the first names of the board that will work alongside Tutorship: Franco Pené and Linda Loppa, each of whom will create their own itinerary in accordance with their field of reference. They are two genuine fashion ambassadors, who will know how to provide precise indications for the evolution of Pitti Tutorship”.
