"Zuccherofilato", the Spazio Ricerca featured as the last edition of Pitti Filati, is now one of the stars of the "Workshop Filati Toscani", at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Tokyo (5-6 November), This is the first edition of the show devoted to yarns for the knitting industry that is being jointly organized by ICE-Istituto per il commercio con l'estero – the Italian Foreign Trade Commission and the Tuscan Regional Government, Toscana Promozione and the Consorzio Promozione Filati.

On October 18,  2007 the famous department store Harvey Nichols in Istanbul will open a special promotional program, Italian Style. It will be two weeks of exhibitions and events dedicated to the Italian style in all its shapes and colors. To celebrate the Italian fashion Harvey Nichols has invited Pitti Immagine to reshape a special edition of the exhibition Lo Sgaurdo Italiano, with a selection of some of the most beautiful images in the book on Italian fashion photography.

On Thursday 11th  October 2007, from 10.30 a.m., at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, Pitti Immagine will be presenting the latest edition of Espresso magazine’s I Vini d’Italia 2008 [Guide to Italian Wines 2008] and, for the first time, I Ristoranti d’Italia 2008 [Italian Restaurants 2008], which is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary this very year.

The guest of honor at Pitti Immagine Uomo n. 72 will be Diesel with a project scheduled for the evening of Thursday, 21 June, here in Florence. This unique and innovative event will tie in with the whole world of Diesel, with its all-round creativity for a select audience of members of the press, buyers and international VIPs that will conclude with a big party for an even larger group.
