MAX KIBARDIN: THE PITTI UOMO 77 MEN'S FASHION PROJECT FOR ACCESSORIES

At this edition of Pitti Uomo, and specifically from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, 14 January, Max Kibardin will present a world preview of his Behind the Shoes project with a performance; and his collection will be featured at Touch!, the heart of the fair’s fashion district devoted to the new form of elegance for today’s man. Behind the Shoes is the result of Kibardin’s cooperation with Iké Udé, the internationally renowned artist who
works in New York.

The Men’s Fashion Project at this edition of Pitti Uomo will be dedicated to Umit Benan. He presented the preview of his Menswear Collection F/W 2010-2011 with an original show of his unmistakable style.
The Fondazione Discovery has selected Umit Benan as the NEW PERFORMER at Pitti Uomo 77.

CORNELIANI AT PITTI UOMO 77

Pitti Immagine Uomo is definitely the trade fair that launches the international fashion season. And this edition’s special event will be a thrilling fashion show, the first by Corneliani, the Mantua based firm that has been presenting its collections here in Florence since 1976 and is one of the stars on the Italian men’s fashion scene.

THE NEW MR. NILS COLLECTION BY LARS NILSSON AT PITTI UOMO

The new Mr. Nils collection produced by Mabro in cooperation with designer Lars Nilsson will be making its international debut at Pitti Uomo 77.
The Museo Marino Marini will be the setting for the presentation of the new brand’s F/W 2010 collection, entirely Made in Italy – mostly at the Mabro plant – on 12 January 2010.
