In the summer of 2011 exhibitions, live shows and skateboarding competitions were held on the island of New Holland in Saint Petersburg, Russia - an area of the City that had been closed to the public for the previous three-hundred years. Russian photographer, filmmaker and fashion designer Gosha Rubchinskiy captured images of the events, and portraits of the young skateboarders, which are presented here, alongside landscapes of the surrounding area.
