Pitti Immagine has always considered the protection of health to be an essential and indispensable value.
For this reason, it has not only applied the official protocol for containing and contrasting the spread of Covid-19, but has also put in place additional measures for ensuring the safety of people participating in and visiting the fairs that will be held in the Fortezza da Basso from February 2021.  This level of attention will accompany everyone from their arrival in Florence, as they enter the fair and during the time they spend at the event, right up to their return home.

We have followed and applied all the guidelines of the fair organizer associations (EMECA - European Major Exhibition Centres Association, UFI - Union Foires Internationales, AEFI - Associazione Enti Fieristici Italiani and CFI - Comitato Fiere Industria), the Italian Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and are working in order to ensure that, in addition to being safe, the time spent at the Fortezza is also pleasant and functional.

WHAT ARE THEY: the Italian government has organized so-called Green Corridors, preferential lanes that allow foreign exhibitors and visitors to avoid having to go into fiduciary isolation (quarantine) upon arrival in Italy.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO: on boarding it is necessary to present to the carrier (airline, train company) and competent authorities, a statement certifying the negative result of a molecular or antigen test carried out by means of a swab in the 72 hours prior to arrival. Visitors who are required to have an entry visa must obtain a visa for work purposes.

DURATION: the provisions shall be valid for stays of a maximum of 120 hours (5 days).

We strongly recommend you to fill in Annex 1 and to keep a copy, to show it to airport control authorities in addition the other documentation required and bring it with you throughout the whole stay in the country.
