If we want soccer to be just a fun pastime, let’s start by teaching this to children. With this object in view, the Foundation for Sports History Museums and the ACF  Fiorentina, in collaboration with Museo Viola Junior, the new  museum dedicated to children, are going to present a conference  entitled “IL CALCIO E’ UN DIVERTIMENTO”(Soccer is  a fun pastime), in occasion of the opening of the “BAMBINI  VIOLA” (‘violet’-the official color of Fiorentina-children)  exhibition. On Friday the 28th of June, at 3:00 p.m., new  Italy’s Minister for Sports Josefa Idem, president of CONI  Servizi Giovanni Malagò,honorary president of ACF Fiorentina  Andrea Della Valle and the CEO Sandro Mencucci, Mayor of  Florence Matteo Renzi and deputy Mayor Stefania Saccardi will  be present in the Monumental Area of the Fortezza da Basso,  as well as the president of Save The Children, the director of the Meyer Children Hospital and the president of the Italian AGESCI (Association of Catholic Guides and Scouts). After the conference, there is going to be the official opening of  the exhibition “Bambini Viola, il Calcio è un Divertimento” realized by the Museo Viola Junior in collaboration with Pitti Immagine and sponsored by the CR Firenze Bank and Mazda Motors Italy.
