Fashion for charity
A charity project set up by Fracomina Mini in collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages
For autumn/winter 2014-2015, Fracomina Mini has come up with a collection that gives the legendary eighties a modern makeover thanks to perfect synthesis between kids’ desire for style and their mothers’ request for quality.
A glam moment that this year sees an added surprise! For the Florentine show, the Campania-based company PFCMNA, which owns the Fracomina Mini brand, will in fact be part of a charity project set up in collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages, the biggest international organisation that for over 60 years has worked to support children lacking family care. The initiative will be officially presented on 16 January, starting at 4.00 pm, during the “Fashion for Charity” brunch in the Maison du Bois, stand 3 on the ground floor of the Costruzioni Lorenesi.
The project will see this fashion house from Campania turn the 30 garments in the FW 14-15 into a “charity capsule”, with a certain percent of proceeds from sales going to charity.
Pitti Bimbo will therefore be the starting point for collaboration set up to aid action by SOS Villaggi dei Bambini in Italy. As the Association has always maintained, the full potential of a child is best developed in a loving family situation; this is why we must work together with the child, his family, his community, the State and other support bodies to find the most appropriate answers to the situations of children who risk losing family care and those who have already lost it.
Fabio Canino and the athlete Fiona May will attend the event.
