PITTI BIMBO 83: BUYERS' POINT OF VIEW

This is my first time at Pitti Bimbo and the atmosphere is fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised, because I thought the show was mostly devoted to classic childrenswear. Instead, there are a lot of brands offering contemporary and creative collections! Pitti Bimbo is much more comprehensive than other shows. I really enjoyed the KidzFizz section, devoted to new and up-and-coming brands, where I discovered a lot of interesting collections. The layout and presentations are very innovative and fun and everything here is an ongoing source of inspiration! Perfectly organized show, I couldn’t ask for more.

I was curious to know what is so special about Pitti Bimbo as compared with other childrenswear shows. I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible mix of classic and contemporary offerings, by the lively and creative atmosphere, rich in stimuli and inspiration. Like the KidzFizz area, devoted to the creative brands, every single stand was so interesting. Chatoy is an e-commerce shop and I was looking for both basic and high-fashion-content collections, which are very trendy on the Japanese market. Pitti Bimbo gave me the chance to see how the companies I am familiar with work, but also to get to know  some up-and-coming, creative and top-quality companies.

The show is beautiful and enthralling. The layout is very well done and original and the great selection of collections offers an overview of the international market. There is a lot of creativity in the air! At Pitti Bimbo,  it is easy to visit the various sections,  plan your work and  process the stimuli you take in. I really enjoyed the KidzFizz section: new and original collections, based on creativity and innovative details. The stands of the Central Pavilion were extraordinary too, with their internationally-renowned brands. I loved the latest KDesign, Bike! Bike! and Fun Glasses additions. I really appreciate the way Pitti combines commerce and artfulness. Even the events were lovely. Pitti Immagine puts a lot of time, creativity and love into its shows and it is evident. The angel is in the details.

Pitti Bimbo is a benchmark in the childrenswear world. I have been here so many times I really feel at home! What did I enjoy about the show? The KDesign section, devoted to furniture and design accessories for children. It used to be the only thing missing and Pitti’s staff was able to achieve it perfectly. I found a lot of interesting collections offering creative items at reasonable prices, which is what customers want. Close attention to costs is an aspect that should not be underestimated. The show was perfectly organized, as usual.

Pitti Bimbo is a  wonderful show. It is buzzing and is attended by a great group of people from the industry. The layout is actually pretty impressive. Pitti Bimbo is the perfect destination for multibrand store buyers, who get the opportunity to meet existing partners and place orders with them, scout for new brands and get an overview of trends and news in the industry. An experience such as Pitti Bimbo is crucial to our business. I found that two additions were fantastic! KDesign brands have a unique and playful approach to kids furniture, which provides a great advantage to retailers. Bike! Bike! is also an interesting area providing fun gadgets and accessories for bikes. KidzFizz is one of our favourite areas, as it offers a unique assortment of colourful and playful brands, ideal for our market. There’s something in Pitti for everyone: the wide and diverse brand offer is definitely what makes it a key destination.
