Pitti Bimbo #entertainment. The fashion shows and the events you don’t want to miss!
As usual a rich calendar of catwalks, special events, presentations but also entertainments and many others appointments still to be unveiled. Among the special events at Sala della Ronda - Fortezza Da Basso scheduled on Thursday 17 January, the catwalks by Stefania (4:00pm) and the group of Spanish brands Abel&Lula, Amaya, Boboli, Mayoral, Tartaleta and Tuc Tuc under the umbrella of of Children’s Fashion from Spain (1:00pm).
The Monnalisa fashion show
On the evening of 17 January, the exceptional nineteenth-century Palazzo della Borsa Valori on the Lungarno Diaz will be the venue for the fashion show of Monnalisa. On the occasion of Pitti Bimbo, the Arezzo-based company, leader in premium childrenswear for 50 years, will present its FW19 collection to the press and professionals in a sumptuous set design, with the special participation of Beatrice Valli.
Barbie turns 60:
a celebrative exhibition and a capsule collection with Patrizia Pepe
In 2019 the most famous among fashion dolls will turn 60 years old and begins the celebrations of this important anniversary starting from Pitti Bimbo.
Inside the Fortezza, in the spaces of La Polveriera, a celebratory exhibition will tell the 60 years of Barbie always in step with the times, inspiring the little girls all over the world to "be all what they want" (You can be anything). On this occasion the partnership with the brand PATRIZIA PEPE will also be presented for the launch of a capsule collection, which also includes a special t-shirt. And again, the Polimoda of Florence is organizing an open day for the launch of the second Summer Camp which will include a workshop in collaboration with Barbie.
This edition also features TOT’s debuts, the collection launched by Belumbury Fashion Group and with which Au197Sm, the patent-brand that has revolutionized the codes of street luxury, takes its first step in kidswear (Thursday 17, 1.30pm – 3.00pm, Padiglione Centrale, Piano Terra, Stand E6/F3).
