Noriaki Matsuura, Tomorrowland Production Manager, Tokyo:
I hadn’t been to Pitti Filati for five years and I have to say that the show has improved in terms of quality, selection and high creative content. It is not an easy standard to meet, but Pitti Immagine put a lot of effort into it. I’ve noticed a higher attendance, a carefully-detailed layout and I really enjoyed the Research Space and the innovative developments of Feel the Yarn. The Vintage Selection space inside the Fortezza da Basso is an added value and a great source of inspiration. The show offers the chance to see the latest trends and meet with customers and suppliers, which is rather rare on an everyday working basis. Pitti Filati is a bit like a festival: a combination of business and good company!
Alex Orley, Orley Owner, New York:
Pitti Filati is my favorite show! I take part in other textile trade shows, but this one by Pitti Immagine is something different, something special. First of all, everything is taken care of down to the last detail and the brands on show are all of the highest quality. I’ve been attending Pitti Filati for several years and now, to me, it is a not-to-miss event,  because I can meet with designers and fellow-buyers from all over the world, exchange opinions on the trends and latest developments in the knitwear world. The Research Space is amazing, as usual, it provides me with the creative help I need to develop my collection. I also enjoyed the Vintage Selection offerings, all the designers I talked to were so enthusiastic about them!  Pitti Filati has a lot to offer, that is why I stay throughout the whole show: I want to take all the creativity and stimuli I can get from it. A perfectly organized event.
Beth Newinc, Cèline Assistant Designer, Paris:
I’ve noticed a higher attendance of designers and professionals as compared with the latest shows and a lot of new developments for the 2017-2018 Fall/Winter yarn collections. A wonderfully organized show, as usual. The Vintage Selection offered a more detailed and comprehensive selection than ever before. Congratulations!
Tammy Chow, Associate Designer Current Elliott Men’s:
The companies’ level of selection is very high. Pitti Filati is very well-organized and easy to tour: I had no problem jumping from appointment to appointment. The fall-winter 2017/2018 trends? Bouclés and shearlings, along with deep military green and eggplant in terms of colors. I love the way shearling plays with various texture techniques.  I love that the Vintage Selection was inside the fair. It was a pleasant surprise upon walking in. I spent a good two hours browsing for myself and for work inspiration as well. Prices are reasonable and I found some true gems. I also enjoyed visiting the Research Space, it starts ideas.
Alessio Lillocci, Brunello Cucinelli Men’s Style Office:
This latest Pitti Filati show was very busy and had a lovely atmosphere! Every time I attend the show, I go looking for the offerings that are aligned with our target consumer, that is, what catches a man’s eye, and I’ve always been very satisfied! The show was very well-organized as usual.
Jackie Nason, Product Development Assistant for Paul Smith:

A busy atmosphere with a lovely vibe! Yarn selection was well represented: supplier stands with lots of interesting stitch details to promote the yarn qualities and colors were very nice. Our designers found it very useful to have the Vintage Selection within the show. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to visit the Research Space, but my colleagues were impressed with it! Good selection of mills and the show is set out very well.
