The Perfumes of Sicily.
Obicà’s sensorial supper
On the occasion of Fragranze, Obicà Firenze presents I Profumi della Sicilia (The Perfumes of Sicily), a sensorial supper to discover Sicilian traditions: an immersive experience featuring food, essences and fragrances with the Chef’s specialties and the creations of Antonio Alessandria Parfums.
Antonio Alessandria, the celebrated perfumer from Catania, creates essences that are deeply rooted in local Sicilian history and culture. Just like Dies Aurorae, the brand new perfume he will be exclusively presenting at Fragranze, which can be tried out during the supper along with some of his other famous creations. To accompany the olfactory experience, the restaurant has created an exclusive menu with high quality ingredients that are typical of the Sicilian gastronomic tradition. The starters are Prosciutto di Suino Nero dei Nebrodi (Prosciutto obtained from the black-skinned pig of Nebrodi) with Figs, Caponata alla Siciliana vegetable soup and Obicà Arancini rice balls. To follow, a great classic like Casarecce with Pesto alla Trapanese. And, to finish, mini Panna Cottas with PDO Green Pistachio from Bronte. To take part in the supper on Friday 13 September, at the cost of € 30 euro a head, it is necessary to book by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The special I Profumi della Sicilia menu will be available both at lunchtime and suppertime, from 13 to 15 September.
