Gayeon Lee studied at Hongik University and then at Central Saint Martins before founding the eponymous brand in 2014. In this capsule collection, she explains, “Combining V-Grass’s romantic, feminine mood and my passion for 1950’s silhouettes, I created classic but interesting shapes. A taste for the 1950s is expressed through intricate ribbon and knot detailing. This old-fashioned elegance is emphasized with structured volumes and gamine silhouettes, brought up-to-date with unexpected details and construction techniques.” Established in 1997, V-Grass is a high-end womenswear brand catering for the lifestyle of beautiful and graceful ladies, with ‘stylish and slinky’ in its brand’s DNA. Committed to the “elegant on the inside and glamorous on the outside” brand concept, V-Grass provides quality and flattering clothes for modern women by integrating the essence of Chinese and western designs. The philosophy of “elegant on the inside and glamorous on the outside” has infiltrated into every single product of the brand.
