Surprising flavors, secret recipes, original inspiration, as well as new entrepreneurial ideas that bring innovation and authenticity to the table.  All of this is TASTE, the Pitti Immagine fair dedicated to excellences in Italian taste and the most recent evolutions in kitchen lifestyle & design.
The direct and privileged encounter with around 400 companies and producers returns to the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, from 7 to 9 March.  The 15th edition of Pitti Taste is both a gourmand experience and a business platform, offering an always up-to-date vision of the latest trends and new contemporary culinary frontiers, praising ancient knowledge that passes on traditions that are always topical.  Around 50 new companies will be making their debut at this edition: new entries to the fair selected from among the most niche productions and the most authentic stories – paying particular attention to reclaiming regional traditions, the most original artisan processes and protecting biodiversity – as well as new products and accessories linked to kitchen design.
In a special setting curated by Alessandro Moradei, Taste is also a packed program of events, rendezvous and talks that examine the latest food themes and completes the fair’s sensorial experience.
“Each new edition of Taste is a declaration of love for food and for its myriad facets” says Agostino Poletto, General Manager ofPitti Immagine.  “It is a love portrayed to us by the companies and producers that are showcased at the Leopolda with their leading products and new ideas, the result of ancient, often family, traditions as well as research into contemporary artisanal innovations.  And at this edition I feel it is important to emphasize that there will be lots of new companies making their debut which have been selected through meticulous scouting always attentive to niche productions that display a love for the territory and for its unique raw materials.”
“However, this time Taste is an even more engaging declaration of love” adds Agostino Polettobecause this is actually the subject of the 2020 theme for the fair: a love for food seen in its many variations, from the most serious to the most ironic, but with a lot of substance behind it, which will be portrayed through a series of talks and by the protagonists, men and women, that have made a passion for food their life.  Because, basically, I LOVE FOOD, is a slogan that unites us all!”
