F.W. 2000/01 collection of one of the most interesting designers of the new generation
On the evening of Thursday, January 13, 2000, the opening day of the 57th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, Neil Barrett will present his collection for the 2000/01 autumn-winter season at the Stazione Leopolda.
Neil Barrett, who hails from England is one of the most interesting designers of the new generation (his résumé includes ten seasons as senior men’s wear designer for Gucci and eight as design director for the Prada Uomo project), will be making his runway debut at Pitti Immagine Uomo. For the occasion, he will also present the world preview of his first women’s collection. Barrett’s style combines the practicality of sportswear with the elegance of a tailored garment: comfort and refinement in the details, fine materials and rigorous design are the main features of his collections.
Neil Barrett has been cited as one of the most interesting names in men’s fashion by the elite of the international press and buyers. His entrance onto the scene was greet with enthusiasm.
