Il Giardino Incantato Di Braccialini
Exhibition at Pitti Uomo to celebrate the 60th anniversary of this Florentine maison
“What makes a bag essential for a woman? What promise is hidden in this magnet object of desire?” Thanks to its unique, dreamlike creations, Braccialini has turned the answer to this question into a must-play game of fun.
To coincide with Pitti Uomo 86 and in celebration of its 60th anniversary, Braccialini inaugurates “Il Giardino Incantato” – The Enchanted Garden exhibition, at the Marino Marini Museum in Florence.
From the first bags in straw to the icon models from recent years, the Braccialini retrospective, curated by Alessandra Arezzi Boza, will cover sixty years of creative flair and glamour.
In a luxuriant enchanted garden, a magical path will reveal the most famous Braccialini bags, taking visitors on a surprising journey into the history of the Florentine company.
Masterpieces of artisan excellence, famous all over the world for their elegance that both excites and amazes.
The selection of bags on display will then form the core of the future Braccialini museum, housed in the headquarters in Scandicci.
Again at the Marino Marini Museum, 17 June will see presentation of the book “Le borse delle meraviglie” (Bags of wonder), edited by Fabiana Giacomotti and published by Skira, tracing all the chapters in the brand’s history.
