At Pitti Uomo, a journey of discovery into ancient tradition and Scottish manufacturing culture with the cocktail party organised by the Harris Tweed Authority, in the Lounge on the Piano Attico of the  Central Pavilion.

With "Harris Tweed - Colour, Craftsmanship and Creativity” on Wednesday 13 January, from 4.00 to 6.00 pm, warm Scottish hospitality will invite guests on the Harris Tweed Authority stand to learn more about the uniqueness and special features of the industry that makes the exclusive Harris Tweed. Stand design by Alessandro Moradei.
 
The Harris Tweed Authority is an independent statutory public organisation set up by the Harris Tweed Act in 1993 to replace the Harris Tweed Association of 1910 and to safeguard the high standard and reputation of Harris Tweed and promotion of the related industry. It is also involved in protecting Harris Tweed products against forgery and in issuing of the Harris Tweed Orb marking.
