Giorgio’s comes to town on Thursday 14 June: after its London pop-up in April, the Thursday-evening members-only event from Armani/Privé Club in Milan is now hitting Florence to celebrate the brand’s new boutique, opening at 83/r via de’ Tornabuoni.
With a surface area of 250 square metres all on one level, right opposite Palazzo Strozzi, it boasts nine shop windows overlooking one of the smartest streets in the city centre.
Giorgio Armani worked with his team of architects to design this new concept store, respecting the building’s original architecture. The bright, airy space develops through a sequence of rooms joined together by elegant had always with the platinum colour finish. The seating, lights, wallcoverings and carpets are all from the Armani/Casa collection. In addition to a large space set aside for accessories, the store also contains a corner and a shop window dedicated solely to the Giorgio Armani Beauty make-up and fragrance range.
