On Tuesday 9 January, from 6.00 pm, in the spaces of the historic Botticelli Art Gallery in Florence, Fassamaneria - brand based in Milan and born from the creativity of Cristiana Vannini and Andrea Camerana, together with members of CPC Lab - presents Fassamano, the new unisex eyewear.
Handcrafted in Italy, in the Venetian eyewear district, Fassamano recovers characteristic shapes of the first eyewear from the 13th century, rewriting the history of this special accessory in a glamorous perspective, according to a contemporary and stylish practicality. At the neck like a design pendant or naturally approached to the face to read, Fassamano inspires elegant and timeless gestures.
Quality, design and recovery of the past find the perfect setting in the Botticelli Gallery located in Via Maggio, in the heart of Florence. Since 1994 the brothers Bruno and Eleonora Botticelli have continued the family tradition of antiquing, taking care of the research and study of European sculptures, furniture and paintings from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. The gallery has always stood out for its openness towards modern and contemporary art, hosting exhibitions, also by young artists, in a continuous dialogue between the ancient artefact and contemporary art.
