An exclusive premiere at Pitti Uomo 93 for M1992, the new project by the eclectic designer and Italian dj Dorian Stefano Tarantini. M1992 is the new name of his label Malibu 1992 which has already captured the attention of the international press. With a Special Project promoted by the Fondazione Pitti Discovery and born from the collaboration of Pitti Immagine and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana which has supported him since the very first fashion show, Dorian presents the new life of his brand - a contamination among multimedia art, music and fashion - inspired by a cross-cutting experimental style, a distinctive approach of its creativity. M1992 will also be present at the Fortezza da Basso with a special space at the UNCONVENTIONAL area.

Dorian is a DJ, designer and influencer from Milan, where he started his career, more than a decade ago, as the creative director of the well known italian Club Plastic.
His eclectic personality helped him, through the years, expanding exponentially his fields of interests that converged in the “Luxury” artistic, aesthetic and musical project of his brand “Malibu1992”. The elegant and decadent style that identifies Dorian, allowed him to carry on with successful projects related to the visual arts, clubbing and to fashion, riding the world's avant-garde of the moment and creating himself new ones, pushing his inspiration to the limit, and multiplying his interests and travel. In 2014 Malibu 1992 becomes a cult brand invading a market niche born from a virtual world with instagram and reaching out the likes of Rihanna, Jessie J, Iggy Azalea, Brooke Candy Rita Ora and Nicki Minaj. Following will be rolling out two capsules of men's clothing and women's collection presented during the Milan fashion week. In January 2017 Dorian was invited by the Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana to show his first menswear collection during Milan Fashion week. The Fall-Winter 2017 collection immediately obtain international recognition. In June 2017 Malibu 1992 takes the second time in Milan with the Spring-Summer 2018 collection where the first women's capsule has been presented together with menswear and that has amplified the awareness of the brand gaining the attention of Vogue USA and of the rapper Kendrick Lamar featured on the cover of Billboard magazine.
