On June 12th Polimoda presents the best menswear and womenswear collections by final-year undergraduate Fashion Design students in the Polimoda Fashion Show: Separate Collection, held in the soon-to-be third branch of Polimoda, Manifattura Tabacchi. With a play on words that evokes both fashion and sustainability, each student was asked to fully express their identity, reflecting on how the lack of identity generates excessive consumption. Centered on the concept of fashion upcycling, the event is the culmination of a yearlong collaboration with Sara Kozlowski, CFDA Director of Education and Professional Development and mentor to this year’s graduating students.
The event will showcase the work of the young designers before an audience of industry insiders and an international jury of top fashion figures, including CFDA President Steven Kolb, Tony Liu & Lindsey Schuyler (Diet Prada), Burak Cakmak (Parsons), Laudomia Pucci (Emilio Pucci), An Vandevorst & Filip Arickx (A. F. Vandevorst), and Antonio Mancinelli (Hearst Magazines Italy).
