The Latest Fashion Buzz

Pitti Uomo puts the spotlight on new international menswear talent. A project in partnership with L’Uomo Vogue, GQ Italia and Lagente. And as of this edition the project will be promoted by MINI, that will host the display of the collections.

At Pitti Uomo 89, Pitti Immagine, in partnership with L’Uomo Vogue and GQ Italia, presents the new edition of THE LATEST FASHION BUZZ, the project that sees some of the most talented and promising international menswear fashion designers take centre stage. 

After the success achieved from the very beginning, The Latest Fashion Buzz continues to grow: as of this edition, in fact, it will be promoted by MINI – one of the most innovative premium car brands – that will host the display of the collections within its space, at Piazzale Centrale in Fortezza da Basso.
Established as one of the most interesting Pitti Uomo projects related to new talent, The Latest Fashion Buzz aims to promote the generation of ready-to-wear and accessories designers working on a new concept of modern menswear. In keeping with Pitti Immagine strategies to support new talent, emerging names as well as better-known ones will be called upon to take up the challenge, being given the opportunity to present their own style to the international audience of top buyers and journalists at the event.
Here the names at this edition, selected by GQ Italia, L’Uomo Vogue and Pitti Immagine: Carlo Volpi, Cats Brothers (Lindsay McKean), Moto Guo, NADI (Na Di), Omogene (Alexis Giannotti) and Sunnei (Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo). 

The partnership with LAGENTE – which offers consultancy, support and protection for creative figures and brands – also continues this edition, and with the Green project, one of the participants will be offered a mentoring service for a year pro bono.
