ALTEA: These guys know how to keep tradition young

Mister Sartori’s  perceptiual and enthusiastic attitude is still alive on each Altea design. 

You do not want to leave the stand of Altea. Based on the ink blue prints, each print is ore delicious than the other. Linen scarves to Polo t-shirts, delicate knits to sartorial trousers, each design and detail re-conquers  the  Italian taste.

Mikio Ohba’s goal was to retain traditions. First collection was ‘Radoseru’. It caught the Imperial Family’s eyes. Than ‘Gakushuin’ school bags. Today Mikio’s sons; Hiro and Kozo adhere the principals of the family tradition in modern forms.

RUMISU. A Whimsical World

Rumisu is a joint project of two sisters, Pinar and Deniz. 

Their passion for illustration led them to adopt the good old classic silk scarf as the perfect kind of blank canvas. 
Each scarf they create has its own story; characters & inspiration and color mood... One might be a gang of dinosaurs fighting to be at the top of the food chain or a rustic wedding where alien guests are playing the drums and dancing the traditional 'halay' wedding dance.
Each scarf has a unique crocheted accessory of traditional Turkish art of ‘oya’. These crochet characters are hand-made in Southeastern Turkey in cooperation with a UNDP project that aim to foster 
sustainable economic development of the region's women.

This season they have presented their first shoe line as well.. “Much like our inspiration for designing bags, we wanted to engineer footwear that provides a perfect blend of form, function and value,” says Dexter Peart. 
The collection launches today with two fundamental styles, the Montoro and the Lennon. The Lennon offers a sporty, oxford-style sneaker with a versatile shape and streamlined style and The Montoro presents a classic derby silhouette updated slightly with a bias cut.

As a traditional sartorial brand Lardini has an extremely well relation with technology. Their design attitude challenges to discover more functional and practical researches for the contemporary man. 
The RVR Lardini identities increase their individuality in the new Spring/Summer 2015 collection: the natural side accentuates its elegance, while the water repellent one becomes more sporty and ecological, due to the fabric made from plastic bottle caps.
