Ice Surface Temperature
The up-and-coming brand of Kristian and Laura Guerra, from the Pitti Immagine Tutorship Program to IFS in London
Ice Surface Temperature, the brand created by the up-and-coming designer Kristian Guerra together with his sister Laura, arrives in London. The brand will participate, with the support of Pitti Immagine / Tutorship Program and ICE-Agenzia, the Italian Trade Agency for the foreign promotion and internationalization of Italian business, in the next edition of the International Fashion Showcase to be held from 11 to 25 February in conjunction with the opening of London Fashion Week, at the Somerset House in London. The International Fashion Showcase (IFS) is not just an exceptional platform for launching international designers – which for the 2019 edition will feature 16 emerging designers carefully selected to represent their respective country – with the opportunity to not only present their collections at a public exhibition in a dedicated area of the Somerset House, but also participate in a bona fide two-year educational program, created for the business development of emerging designers in the global fashion market. For the creation of the Ice Surface Temperature brand, Paduan designer Kristian Guerra, born in 1988, who is the only Italian in ten years to win the ITS (International Talent Support) contest in Trieste, was inspired by the exact moment in which ice is transformed into water, using it to demonstrate how the concept of change as the leading value guiding his brand completely reinvents the concept of collections.
