One family, every color. A hymn to multiculturalism at Pitti Bimbo
65 portraits by the New York photographer Tom Watson immortalizing multiethnic society through the eyes of adoptive mothers and their children from all over the world. The exhibition Una famiglia, tutti i colori, staged inside the Kid’s Lab, the new Pitti Bimbo research planet, was created together with Mamme per la Pelle – the cultural association that follows mothers with children at risk of discrimination– and the CIAI [Italian Center for Child Welfare] the most historical Italian organization authorized to carry out international adoptions. A photographic itinerary that aims to be a hymn to multiculturalism, to love without reservations or borders. A series of portraits of Italian adoptive mothers and their children who come from every corner of the world and which portray the color of their family.
