During the days of Pitti Bimbo 94, Dimitra Zavakou, pioneer of responsible kidswear and curator of the "I Want to Be Green" project, met some of the brands taking part in the show to discover their idea of sustainability and gather their perspectives. Among these are some of the emerging names from The Nest, debuting on the international market. Like Whatevs., which combines a sustainable approach and athleisure style through an ongoing search for breathable and organic materials. Et D'Emie champions "made in France" production and collections in organic fabric and Seaqual fiber, which helps combat ocean pollution. Another new entry at this edition: Karinù. This brand focuses on Pima cotton and Alpaca wool, blending sustainability and softness to respect children's skin. At the same time, renowned Ria Menorca is committed to respecting the environment producing on an island protected by Unesco: zero carbon emissions, waste reduction, water-based glues, and recycled packaging.
