The imaginative fashion of Albertine by Oriana Picceni - Style Piccoli
Modelli, by Albertine (Fatatrac 2020 / Éditions La Joie de lire 2019, original title Déguisé)

Swiss artist Albertine has an idea of fashion out of the ordinary, combining fairy-tales, poetry, and art. Above all, if, on the one hand, fashion expresses common feelings and trends of the moment, on the other, it is also the transposition of a very personal universe. Because, after all, the way we dress speaks of our personality and tells others a bit of our story. Go ahead with what the imagination suggests, then, as clothing allows us to go far and become what we want!
If you're looking for ideas, check out the gallery below, where you can find some inputs from me:
1--Babybol
Soap bubbles or colored confetti? The small Babybol sweatshirt recalls Albertine's homage to Yayoi Kusama

2--Caramel-et-Cie
Immediately feel like a princess with a crown on your head and a satchel that shines and has butterfly wings like that of Caramel et Cie
3--La-scimmia-da-bagno
The cloud and dream effects are guaranteed with the fluffy tulle skirt by La scimmia da bagno
4--ulla-lab
A retro blouse, a pair of ballet flats, and an old library armchair… are you ready to dive into the pages of Alice in Wonderland? You will be perfect and ready to run fast, in this Ulla Lab
5--vlasta-kopylova
Vlasta Kopylova's super warm coats look like very soft teddy bears

6--Zoocchini
Finally, just put on your shoulders an animal-shaped backpack, like the Zoocchini ones, for school to immediately become an amusing fairy tale.

I am passionate about children’s literature, art, design, fashion, illustration, theater, and anything that can spark the imagination. I became a journalist for the love of stories. I like meeting people, listening to them, and writing about them. You can read me in the pages of Style Piccoli or the colored clouds of my blog Spinginuvole (www.spinginuvole.it), a crossroads of stories, projects, and ideas. If I am not reading, writing, or cooking tarts, you are sure to find me in the mountains, where I am working on the new edition of the children’s literary festival Un Ponte di Storie (www.unpontedistorie.it)
