Brand profile
The fragrances of the Mutis brand, created by Colombian designer Hanssen Diaz, are inspired by the Real Expedición Botánica, a major scientific mission organised by the Spanish crown in the 18th century to explore and catalogue the flora of the New Granada region, now Colombia.
At the heart of this project is the figure of José Celestino Mutis, the botanist who led the expedition. Each fragrance tells a fragment of that extraordinary journey, transforming plants, landscapes, and legends into olfactory experiences.
The collection includes eight fragrances built around three key words: exoticism, legend, and folklore. The result is a sensual, magical, and deeply evocative universe, inspired by the Magical Realism of this land.
Alongside this line comes ARAS, a collection that broadens the focus to the entire Latin American continent, exploring myths, rhythms, and territories with a more experimental vision.
