The BioAlberty company is located in Poggio Aquilone, immersed in the gentle Umbrian hills. It spreads over an area of 560 hectares, between the province of Perugia and Terni and practices exclusively organic farming. A choice implemented years ago by Guido and Paola and today shared with his sons Andrea and Benedetta, who, out of passion and love of the land, have made substantial changes by investing in two elements: the values and traditions of the agricultural world, in a path of rediscovery of the flavors of the peasant tradition. Our mission is "Live well, eat well, taste bio" to offer healthy, tasty and genuine products. The land inside the organic farm is cultivated as in ancient times, in rotation and fertilized with organic fertilizers from the Chianina breed of cattle. Our flagship products are lentils, chickpeas, cicerchia, spelled, barley, millet, broad beans, Senatore Cappelli durum wheat flour and pasta, borlotto beans, ancient grain flours, legume and cereal soups, organic extra virgin olive oil. The company is dedicated to the continuous search for the encounter between ancient customs and innovative production processes aimed at enhancing the quality of an authentic product, whose traceability is ensured, excluding the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. All this is easily ascertained walking through the fields of spelled, Senatore Cappelli durum wheat, soft wheat of ancient Verna and Gentilrosso grains, legumes, cereals and centenary olive groves.
