Nowadays people are obsessed with speed and are constantly looking for new disposable clothing; Maison Flâneur invites us to slow down, to think about what really matters, to what is not burned in a second; a garment should not be thrown away but maintained, as people did in remote times.
It’s a matter of style!
The name Maison Flâneur is inspired by the Flâneur concept of the French poet Charles Baudelaire; it means "globetrotter and thinker".
The Flâneur represents the ability to wander detached from society with no other purpose if not that of being a keen observer of society itself.
The company that produces the brand Maison Flâneur is located in a small town in Veneto, in the heart of the Colli Euganean Natural Park; here the concept of Made in Veneto was born, which refers to the professionalism of the staff, able to perform processes completely traditional yarn-bound on manual looms.
The result is the real pride of the company: the artisan knitwear without seams, the seamless, that is realized as it was done at the dawn of the last century.
Alongside the tradition of yarn processing there is the culture of the jacket, trousers, shirt that never get old: the manual skill of those who work with needle and thread.
Valeria Cremonese was born in Noventa Vicentina and studied fashion design at the Callegari Institute in Venice.
