Brand Profile
LESSLESS is a timeless ready-to-wear label inspired by the dressing gown aesthetics of Hollywood's Golden Age and builds a whole wardrobe around the boudoir aesthetics.
The collections are created to spread the feeling of comfort and confidence beyond the house walls. LESSLESS pieces can be worn anytime and everywhere - the only rule is to enjoy yourself.
Brand’s aspiration is to develop responsible fashion, that is why every item is tailored from natural noble fabrics, is easy-to-wear and to combine both for staying in or going out. The collections are consciously made of durable and biodegradable fibres like finest Italian silk, ECO-cashmere and linen. The brand’s cashmere is a mix of virgin and recycled cashmere (yarns). The packaging is recyclable and produced from recycled materials. LESSLESS collections are entirely handmade by skilful artisans in Kyiv ateliers, in limited quantities to reduce waste.
LESSLESS was founded in LA 2019 by Ukrainian couple Alya and Tim Gonta after their elopement in California. They wanted to encourage people to live large treating themselves with ease and irony, while appreciating their sensuality, inner freedom and comfort.
Alya and Tim were in Kyiv when a wide range russian invasion started. Tim brought Alya with their infant child to the boarder in order to let them go to a safer place in Europe, while Tim enrolled into the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the country among other heroes. “After Feb 24 our lives and souls will never be the same. It looks like we lost everything we had before, but we don’t want to stop. We want to continue to work, supporting our country and team, spreading awareness about Ukraine”.
