HHISTORY
THE IDEA
The TFP project was born from a very simple, innovative  and original idea; to develop an Italian  mechanical watch  that satisfies the desire to possess a luxury object in the knowledge that it has been created  with respect for the Planet. Each stage in our process, from design through production and onto distribution, is designed to guarantee the lowest possible impact to the environment and the planet. This spirit is perfectly captured: “Sustainability is THE luxury that everyone should be able to afford” 
WHO
TFP  founders are managers, professionals, entrepreneurs with highly relevant and successful  professional  experiences, both in Luxury Goods and other businesses.
TFP is the expression of  the will of its Founders,  who share the passion for innovative, unique and exclusive objects, and are focussed on achieving  Sustainability for the Planet, knowing that sustainability is due now for themselves and -above all-  for  future generations. 

WHERE: in TUSCANY
TFP was born in Tuscany, probably the best known and most well-loved region of Italy across the world, to the point of being  a ” global brand”. Tuscany has always been a source of inspiration for Art and Beauty, for the many artists and geniuses who lived there, and today is the centre of Italy’s   Fashion industry and brands.
It is in this land, where, strengthened by a glorious past, one looks in an innovative way to the future, and that this  project finds its origin, in particular in the two splendid cities of Florence, still today a melting pot of artistic creativity and cultural renaissance, and of Lucca a medieval jewel, the capital of the paper industry, and an important industrial centre for the recycling of materials.
WATCH HERITAGE AND INNOVATION
The stimulating cities of Florence and Lucca have influenced the style characteristics of the TFP timepieces.  Thanks to the creative skills of TFP,  which come from  more than 25 years of     experience  in the style of  technical, sporty and innovative Luxury Hard Goods (mechanical wrist watches, writing instruments, accessories).
The managers of  TFP  helped to grow and to consolidate these  successful brand stories. They now deploy these skills to the service of the TFP project,  to define and implement a new concept  of Affordable  Luxury, with Sustainability

Each TFP product is made exclusive by its unique design,  materials  types used  and manufacturing techniques. World-Beater  is  the adjective that  best identifies our product: as a champion of sustainable luxury.
Exclusivity does not preclude an affordable price.  TFP focus is  on reducing potential environmental impacts in all  business processes, reducing waste and rejects, allowing TFP  timepieces be an innovative,  unique product, whilst still affordable for many.
In addition our marketing and sales processes follow a philosophy of using packaging materials and advertising tools which are essential, with a low environmental impact, without sacrificing elegance and real value.
TFP also  uses technological and digital innovations  to optimize physical space and  minimize  logistical resources.

WATCH CASE
Special attention is paid to the watch case, its materials  and finishing and great focus on the details; costantly aiming for high-end craftsmanship. 
The case making  in High-Tech cast (avoiding  waste material ) and satin finished produces   great case  strength  and an unique appearance. Hand finished,  so that each piece is different in details.   Cases are  manufactured in steel or bronze, the metals with the highest percentage of recycled raw materials . 
The ceramic used for the bezel is a high hardness material which can’t be scratched. The double-domed sapphire crystal window, as well as being a piece of  fine workmanship, offers great visibility. The dial is domed – a piece of precious workmanship –  improving readability. The back-case – when not on display – is engraved  with a bas-relief, which will reflect the connection to the Planet.  
LIMITED EDITION WATCH
All  TFP timepieces are numbered  and  each collection is  a limited edition,  of no more than 888 pieces .Those of us who wear a TFP watch will not be wearing a mass produced watch  on their wrists,  but  one  of few timepieces manufactured matching our aims of delivering  real Luxury with an unique  experience.
WATER CONNECTION
Water is life’s spring for our Planet and  for all our  fellow inhabitants; water is precious  and it must be preserved, even if  Mankind has realized this only recently. TFP finds it natural to look for manufacturing  watches which find themselves at ease in the water. The TFP mechanical watches  enjoy   a strong connection with water, guaranteeing that each model is waterproof, from a minimum 200 mt. (20 ATM) up to 600 mt. (60 ATM).

STRAP: VEGETABLE TANNED LEATHER 
TFP leather  straps, have  strong personality , as highlighted by our special stitching,  and are handmade in Italy using  vegetable tanned leathers (certified), in Tuscany: the oldest tanning method, where tannin is taken from trunks, branches and leaves, without  chemical additives. Our straps, in appearance and quality are unique, and are also certified eco-friendly.
Once  the leathers are  selected (by TFP),  production is performed by Italian craftsmen; each strap is carefully inspected for s resistance and to check that will perfectly fit the wrist.   
Thanks to  an effective design solution, the TFP strap benefits from a handy quick change mechanism: with a safe and stable  non spring-based lock.  TFP watch owners  can easily  change the watch strap  “dressing“, depending on the occasion or event for which the watch is worn.   
SYMBOL "8"
Number 8  is the only one which appears on the  dial of TFP watches. This  choice is due to the connection with  the Infinite symbol,  used here  to remind one of  the circularity of Life and of Knowledge, the transition from one generation to the next, and material recycling ,  giving  life to new objects, in a virtuous circle 
Number 8 has also a positive and sacred meaning in many cultures and religions.

THE VISION
TFP srl  SB, the first amongst Italian luxury goods companies, was incorporated as a B -company which is to say that that we seek to generate profits, but in addition we aim to provide benefits to all stakeholders and the environment.
TFP’s philosophy is to deliver high quality, mechanical automatic watches whilst seeking to protect the environment and to improve the quality of life, today and into the future.
Consequently TFP pays great attention on the one hand to the use of recycled, recyclable and eco friendly materials and on the other hand seeks to eliminate the use of harmful products such as solvents , non recyclable materials, batteries, reducing paper and pulp waste, and optimising our storage and distribution activities.
TFP leverages the latest technological and digital innovations which allows us to improve its processes and deliver on our objectives for all stakeholders.

Being established as a   B-Corporation, according to its corporate bylaws, TFP  supports  a number of  sustainable initiatives and projects . TFP pays close attention to the Goals of Global Agenda 2030 (ONU).

TREES AS A GIFT
EACH WATCH  HELP to PLANT TREES
Among the infinite ways that Nature adopts to mark the passage of time, the production of the tree growth rings is particularly fascinating. The first description came from the genius of Leonardo da Vinci,  a very famous son of  the Tuscany, in which  TFP has its roots.
A key  sustainable initiative is the reforestation of the Planet: TFP collaborates with specialized operators to plant trees, whose benefits on the one hand compensate for the production of CO2 and counteract deforestation, and on the other offer new job opportunities to the populations who are cultivating  the trees.

INNOVATION & A SUSTAINABLE PRODUCT
TFP timepieces   use   recycled / recyclable / echo friendly  materials:
– Case: it  is made from  metals  which have an high percentage of  recycled material, such as Steel, Bronze, …
– Dial: domed metallic dials  whose color is obtained from  natural processes (i.e. oxidation) or  from low impact  varnishes (without the use  of solvents).
– Straps:  in selected vegetable  tanned leathers (certified) in Tuscany. TFP doesn’t  use  materials arising from protected  animal species  in  rubber of the highest quality, hypoallergenic and Made in Italy for diving and professional sport needs.
– Sapphire Glass: Top double domed sapphire glass, no use of  plastic nor  mineral glass (it is chemically  treated).
– Automatic Mechanical Movement: each TFP watch has a Swiss mechanical automatic movement which works thanks to the kinetic energy  generated by  wrist movements.  These are natural, infinite mechanisms, which use clean energy: a perfect example of circular economy.  On the contrary quartz watches  use batteries  ( lithium ) which  have a negative impact on environment.
– Packaging : the presentation box  for the watch is minimalistic, but smart, made from recycled paper/ board  which meet FSC certification , including using rejects from fruits or it is made of other recyclable materials.
