Pitti Connect Picks:

AlphaStyle
Classic shape with updated volumes and eccentric details. There’s an interesting way of playing with patchworks and nice colour contrasts.
Altea
A fresh summer look and elegant combinations of colour tones. Altea always pays attention to the details and quality.
Barbour
An iconic UK brand. You can keep your jacket for ages and it always carries many souvenirs. The wax fabric is really typical of Barbour.
Clarks Originals
Beautiful, summery colours on iconic styles.
F/CE
This brand focuses on the links between culture and fashion. They also take care of the environment when developing the products; it’s very current.
OOF Wear
The OOF Wear logo is inspired by a famous Ed Ruscha painting - he is one of my favourite artists. Its aesthetic focuses on shapes and colours with a fun touch. It’s a great take on outdoor clothing.
Nanushka
Nanushka has established itself as a leading vegan brand for women and I really like how it’s moved into men’s design. I like this suit a lot - it’s very easy and features a nice colour combination.
Paul&Shark
A real OG Italian brand. I like that a lot of the brand’s imagery is linked to yachting life. This look has a great sense of colours.
Phipps
I’ve been following the brand for a very long time, thanks to a friend who introduced it to me. Finalists in the 2019 edition of the LVMH prize, Phipps is a unique brand with a strong identity and a deep engagement for the environment. I like this shirt a lot and the attitude it conveys to the person who is wearing it. It’s also a piece you can keep forever, very seasonless with many details.
Valstar
I like the way Valstar is taking a sartorial approach to outerwear. I like the softness and the unexpected light blue colour of this suede overshirt.
