SUPER hits the mark! The new location and the new format earn enthusiastic comments from buyers and exhibitors. More than 5,100 buyers from nearly 50 countries agree that “SUPER has brought new air to Milan”.

The eighth edition of Pitti Immagine’s prêt-à-porter and accessories fair, that was held in a new location – THE MALL in Porta Nuova, concluded to unanimously positive opinions and results proving that we are on the right path.
Final figures show that during its three days, more than 5,100 buyers – 20% of whom were from abroad, representing nearly 50 countries to see the new collections presented by 142 brands (50% Italian, 50% foreign).       
“We aimed high with the “new” SUPER”, says Agostino Poletto, deputy general manager of Pitti Immagine. “We raised the bar for quality and collections. Our brand mix was more carefully focused on the buyers’ needs. This raised the level of the participating buyers who, in turn, were very satisfied. In fact, the more than 5,100 buyers who attended SUPER were of a higher level than ever before: there were more cutting-edge boutiques from Italy and abroad as well as some of the world’s leading department stores. These buyers found SUPER to be the ideal context for researching new looks and for booking orders, making the event profitable for all. Plus, everyone loved the new site – for its central location, for its intrinsic features and for the setting we created: a fresh itinerary, with a green atmosphere with very functional space allocations”.     

International buyer attendance rankings put Japan in first place, followed by Spain, France, Russia, Switzerland, China, Greece, Germany, United States, South Korea, United States and Belgium.
