PITTI TASTE is flavor and Italian food lifestyle. From 10 to 12 March, the Pitti Immagine fair-event dedicated to excellence in food and food culture returns to the Stazione Leopolda in Florence

From Saturday 10th to Monday 12th March 2018, the Leopolda Station in Florence will host edition n.13 of TASTE. IN VIAGGIO CON LE DIVERSITÀ DEL GUSTO (TASTE.TRAVELLING THROUGH THE DIVERSITY OF TASTE), the Pitti Immagine show dedicated to the excellences of food culture and lifestyle associated with quality food: for one week per year, Pitti Taste is Florence, and Florence is Pitti Taste.
This event has become a reference point for its sizeable crowd of sector-related professionals and gourmands, Taste puts new products of 400 participating companies on show (a number that has increased compared to the 380 exhibitors in the previous edition), a selection of not only the best Italian quality food and contemporary wine and food enterprises – but also of food & kitchen design sector objects, garments and technical equipment, all of which is enriched with presentations, events and debates on the most topical culinary-related themes. 
The novelty and main theme of this edition is an in-depth insight into FORAGING, on which the set-up and atmosphere of the show will be based: seeking, recognising, harvesting and cooking wild plants.
Every new edition of Taste is a journey through food, wine, objects and concepts, in pursuit of the multiple dimensions in which taste is currently expressed and experimented. With a captivating and atmosphere-creating set-up, curated by Alessandro Moradei, and at the end of the itinerary, there is a special area – the Taste Shop – where the products on show can be bought.
