Past, present and future in the story of denim. This is the focal theme of the new autumn-winter 2016 collection by 2W2M. Centre-stage is a selection of top-quality fabrics, from historic to the most innovative, all skilfully treated in line with the brand’s most authentic DNA. An attitude that goes beyond a traditional vintage image, coming close to the most innovative trends in international fashion denim.
In-depth research that takes in tradition and innovation is once again the base for the 2W2M Capsule, born out of the encounter between Alessandro Marchesi, the brand’s creative director, and designer Chantal Tirelli. 45 garments for him/her enriched with refined details and precious embroidery, inspired by the floral images of the British artist William Morris and mythology linked to the cult of animals and their symbols. A capsule that plays on empathic bucolic references, also thanks to the use of red seen not just as a colour, but as a chromatic emotion.
A fil rouge in every sense, which leads to the piece by the artist Alfredo Rapetti, famous painter and lyricist also known by the name of Mogol, who will be the guest on the 2W2M stand at the Fortezza, in confirmation of the link that unites this brand to the world of art, which often provides inspiration for its creations.
