At Pitti Uomo 89, Colmar Originals is taking a step into the future with The Future Generation. This special event is being staged at the Opera in Florence in collaboration with Vogue Talents, and features a capsule collection created with designer Christian Pellizzari and Comeforbreakfast, the creative duo composed of Antonio Romano and Francesco Alagna.
The future, the digital world and technology are also the key themes inspiring the Colmar Originals collection for fall-winter 2016. Past and present blend together and take us into the future, inspiring a collection with a high tech spirit that uses innovative materials to create a collection of fabrics with different styles and compositions.
The Key looks are represented by four men’s and four women’s garments, including a mix of down and neoprene, a coat in jersey combined with wool, only in the menswear, and two down garments made from a technical textile with a matt finish and glued quilting. Finally there are three biker-inspired leather jackets, created from a collaboration with riders Phonz and Sanmarco. The season’s novelties include jackets made entirely in reflective fabric. Colmar is also presenting a new generation of detachable linings with brightly coloured down-padded sections that can be added or removed depending on the weather. The collection will expand to include a line of sweatshirts, also with an ultra tech flavour. Sweatshirts with ultrasound quilting inserts with soft fleece elements or with a 3D-effect imprinted logo, and tricot knits in waffled neoprene and jersey or in wool. Finally, the trouser collection is enriched with the addition of biker models with reinforced stitching, and down-padded skirts.
