Storytelling through images with Il Bisonte
From New Mexico to Hong Kong via Stockholm, 12 Instagrammers from three different continents (Europe, Asia and America) describe their life, culture and style in various parts of the world with the one common element: an accessory by Il Bisonte. This is the user-generated content project launched by Il Bisonte, the cult Florentine brand with more than 40 years of history behind it, presented this year at Pitti Uomo.
The result is 120 impressively high-quality photographs in which Il Bisonte appears, sometimes in the foreground, other times in more surprising, striking contexts: hanging from a horse’s mouth, on a dog’s lead, sitting on a café table, held in the hands of a child, or while travelling. These visual stories are to be presented from 12 - 15 June in the gardens of Villa Vittoria, with a special exhibition curated by Felice Limosani, situated inside a large container.
A series of photographs, videos and screens will show the profiles of the Instagrammers involved and visitors will be able to interact with the photographers on Instagram, and get a closer look at the Il Bisonte accessories featured in this photographic project. They’ll also have a chance to be featured themselves, by presenting their own applications to be part of the next edition of #1box10shots.
