The Bold and the Conscious, Peuterey Returns With Bright Luxury Outerwear

Exhibitors Spotlight focuses on a selection of brands exhibiting at this year's Pitti Uomo, showcasing their upcoming collections and special upcoming projects.

Founded in 2002, Peuterey’s interpretation of ‘luxury casualwear’ is a modern fusion of design and innovation. Made with reassuring lines and meticulous details, it presents the wearer with a complete style universe. Perfect for both city living and natural scenarios, its pieces are modern and practical.

Reinterpreting the classic silhouette beyond its technical merits, the pieces transform everyday style pieces into progressive objects of desire. A distinctive collection, the series of down jackets celebrates its heritage, updating materials and creating new shapes

The upcoming FW21 collection sees the launch of the innovative PEUTEREY RECYCLE project - a series of limited down jackets made with archival fabrics and recycled, regenerated down. Born from the vision of designer and creative director Federico Curradi, the aim of the project is to reduce waste and the environmental impact of disposal of stocks.

Peuterey creatively rethinks how it reuses materials, combining design with the existing know-how and functionality of the brand.

We focused on archival fabrics - the result of our daily research work - and gave them a new life. Unique garments were born, with a high creative content, but also aligned with our philosophy, which has always been to create durable, timeless and quality pieces.

— Francesca Lusini, President of Peuterey Group

As fashion becomes more conscious, Peuterey has evolved with the times. With a commitment to limiting its environmental impact, the brand incorporates waste reduction, using alternative sources and cutting- edge technologies.

‘A better future is our everyday challenge’: this is the daily motto that inspires Peuterey to protect human and environmental resources while ensuring more sustainable development.

Peuterey Plurals FW21 capsule collection also goes in this direction: a dynamic and energetic line of printed outerwear, entirely made of nylon and recycled down.

Plurals represents Peuterey's creative and experimental lab, where the creativity of the brand breaks free. It is like a white canvas that every season interprets the most current social and cultural themes. It is an inclusive and fluid project, which makes the representation of diversity, the plurality of points of view, its speciality.

— Francesca Lusini, President of Peuterey Group

The FW 21 collection by Peuterey Plurals was designed during the first lockdown and it was natural to use the references of what was happening outside the studio: empty squares and streets, silence. The windows of the opposite apartments, those windows that for weeks have been our only contact with others and with the world, become an all-over print on the relaxed and oversized models of the collection. And a symbolic phrase, in memory of how proximity and distance are relative concepts: Distance means nothing when someone means everything.

— Federico Curradi , Creative Director
