Their work will be exhibited in Palazzo Vecchio.

A special limited-edition book presents all the artisans that participated in ‘The Renaissance and Rebirth’ project.
From one end is Florence, a city where the art of savoir faire is protagonist, and from the other end are Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce, who have always been champions of Made in Italy and ‘handmade’ items: together they have given life to an extraordinary project that brings men’s Alta Sartoria to Palazzo Vecchio and women’s Alta Moda to Villa Bardini with a series of pieces, from small accessories to maxi settings, created specifically for the occasion by master artisans who have made their expertise and experience available to create something new, for a different interpretation of tradition.
The creation of the book was made possible thanks to the support of Cuoio di Toscana, the consortium that promotes the value of a sustainable raw material, which is appreciated by all of the world’s markets and tanned using only vegetable tannins right in Tuscany. Likewise special is the printing and packaging of the book itself: the cover, cut by hand, was made using the Consortium’s leathers, with printing curated by Mauro Pagliai Editore, and binding done by the Florentine typography and binding house, Il Parione.
In addition, the display cases containing the work of the artisans involved in the project will be exhibited in Palazzo Vecchio, in the Cortile di Michelozzo, from September 2 to 25. One will be dedicated to Cuoio di Toscana.
